How do I get an inspection on my leased car?
An inspection is the check the car has to have at an inspection station after about 4 years of its life. This only happens when you lease a used car or if you extend your contract beyond the first 3 years. You will be summoned to this by the Danish Road Traffic Authority about 8 weeks before the deadline for the inspection to be carried out. The inspection is covered by the partner of the leased car, but must be carried out at specific locations.
With ALD the inspection must be carried out at an FDM inspection station and with LeasePlan it must be carried out at an Applus+ inspection station. After the inspection, the station in question sends the invoice directly to the partner in question.
